Lake District : Rydal and Grasmere hiking route detail

Personally, Cheney does not agree that the Lake district have enough travel guide information, the route map which Cheney bought in the
Information centre is still very roughly......
the route to visit Rydal and Grasmere is like the following pictures.....
from the Information Centre in Ambleside, you walk downhill to the Compston road with the shopping centre ( Cheney only remember there was a sport shop)
on the left. you can reference picture 1.
Compston road , you can reference picture 2.

then at the next junction, you fork right into Vicarage road, there should be a cinema on your  right side ( see picture 3)
along this road, you will pass through a church (see picture 4)
then go through the park to the lovely stone arch footbridge, cross it and turn right to the Underloughrigg Lane (see picture 5,6,7)
then on the road... you will enjoy that you become an observe object to the sheeps......
continue walking on the level towards Pelter Bridge, and you will pass the stepping stones on the right over the River Rothay
(see picture 8) ...Cheney across the stepping stone.....it is quite beautiful there... unfortunately....wrong way...
while you reach the Pelter Bridger (see picture 9), turn left to the unsigned road leading to the car park.....

and wanna know more detail....he he....Cheney let you discover by yourself....
enjoy lost in the field la

enjoy
