2015 Japan trip - Story of Himeji Castle

There was beautiful and sad story in Himeji Castle, the story of Princess Sen. Well, most of tourists do not care about the story….all they want are taking the pictures to demonstrate that they have been here….About the story of Princess Sen will introduce at the bottom of this post

Sadly, this is the main stream, people like Cheney enjoying in history and deep touring now are out of the main stream, also might be teased too…..

The layout of Himeji Castle was designed for military use...and this recalls Cheney that the castle Minas Tirith in The Lord of rings. Yes, it is the way to defend the enemy. 姬路城其實是有個淒美的故事的....千姬公主哪.....不過呢大多數的觀光客其實不在乎這些啦...特別是菜籃國的.....他們關心的就是到此一遊照啦....其實這個跟齊天大聖孫爺爺到如來佛的手指頭上撒泡尿還真有點一樣呢(Cheney眉批:路邊的野狗會灑尿....)不過Cheney也是會三不五時的順應時代潮流啦........千姬的故事，在本篇文章的最底下....有興趣再看吧.....

很遺憾的呢....這種觀光方式才是主流哪......像Cheney這種滿肚酸言，妄言對歷史有興趣跟喜愛深度旅遊的人...是非主流啦.....也是被嘲笑的對象吧.....

Story of Princess Sen

Princess Sen was the eldest daughter of shogun Tokkugawa Hidetada. Her paternal grandfather was the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate, Tokugawa Leyasu. While her was 7 years old, she married the successor to the Toyotomi clan, Toyotomi Hideyori and lived with him in Osaka Castle. When Osaka castle fell, Hideyori was forced to commit suicide. Princess Sen was luckier and had been rescued from the castle before it fell.

In 1616, Leyasu remarried Sen to Honda Tadatoki, and in few years she moved to Himeji Castle. Sen and Tadatoki had an amicable marriage and had two children: a daughter and son. However tragedy struck when her son died at the age of three and five years later in 1626, her husband died…...how sad and poor women she is…..

德川千姬是德川秀忠的女兒，爺爺就是有名的德川家康....千姬在七歲的時候嫁給豐臣秀吉的兒子豐臣秀賴之後就住在大阪城，一直到大阪城陷落，豐臣秀賴被迫自殺，千姬也被事先從大阪城救出來，這是千姬公主的第一段不幸的人生哪........

後來千姬又改嫁本多忠刻，這段婚姻算是幸福美滿，兩人有一子一女，不幸的是千姬的兒子在三歲的時候夭折了....五年後丈夫也去世....真是不幸哪......
