Domke 攝影包包．．．現在應該沒什麼人知道了....可能年輕的攝影記者也不知道這個品牌了吧.....當年Cheney還是苦哈哈窮兮兮的學生的時候....那時候的攝影記者好多人都是背這個包包的....那時候的Cheney好想買一個啊...不過窮學生哪有錢呢？！一句話來定位Domke 就是傳統攝影風格的經典實戰攝影包包吧

多年後Cheney 總算是買了這個牌子的攝影包包, Cheney 買的是F3X....說起攝影包包....Cheney第一個攝影包包是在以前承德路上的高峰百貨買的......第二個是 lowepeo 的 owepro stealth reporter 500 這個包包說真的不錯....陪Cheney 去歐洲走了一圈.....也是設計給攝影記者用的....唯一的缺點就是外觀太攝影包包了......第三個是crumple 500 million 的小攝影包.....接下來的是 lowepro 的雙肩包.....最後就是這個Domke的F3X, Cheney 主要是買來街拍用的......

Domke 是美國費城報社的攝影記者Jim Domke 創辦的....1976年創辦的品牌...不過現在應該是已經被收購了．．Domke 品牌創立的背景據說是因為當時沒有好用的相機包包...所以他自己直接設計了一個工作用包.....這個品牌的包包不是設計給一般的消費者的,是給工作中的攝影師的

Domke camera bags…

These days, probably not many people know about them anymore… maybe even younger photojournalists have never heard of the brand. Back when Cheney was still a broke, struggling student, a lot of photojournalists were carrying these bags. At the time, Cheney really wanted one… but how could a poor student afford it?!

If I had to sum up Domke in one sentence: it’s a classic, field-proven camera bag rooted in traditional photography.

Years later, Cheney finally bought a Domke bag—the F3X. Speaking of camera bags… Cheney’s first one was bought at Kaofeng Department Store on Chengde Road back in the day. The second was the Lowepro Stealth Reporter 500—honestly, a really good bag. It even went with Cheney on a trip across Europe. It was also designed for photojournalists. The only downside was that it looked too much like a camera bag.

The third was a small Crumpler “500 Million Dollar” bag. After that came a Lowepro backpack. And finally, this Domke F3X—mainly bought for street photography.

Domke was founded by Jim Domke, a photojournalist from The Philadelphia Inquirer, in 1976. The brand has probably been acquired by another company by now. The story goes that Domke started the brand because there simply weren’t any camera bags that worked well at the time—so he designed one himself for real-world use.

These bags weren’t created for general consumers—they were made for working photographers in the field.

• 不是強調保護...而是強調高機動性

Cheney 覺得他的優缺點是這樣啦

優點

• 貼身....有人說不太會晃....但Cheney不知道是不是比較瘦小...所以偶爾還是覺得會晃
• 可以快速拿取
• 低調外型....

缺點

• 保護性偏弱
• 長時間單肩背...肩膀會廢掉
• 以F3X 這個尺寸來說....13 寸的Macbook Pro 放不下...不過話說...既然主打高機動性...誰會帶laptop呢 
• 沒有雨衣
• 內部結構簡單...沒有多功能的小物收納空間設計
• 那個掛勾扣超級難用....很難輕鬆地壓下去
• 防盜功能差

Pros:

• Sits close to the body — some people say it doesn’t swing much, but maybe because Cheney is relatively slim, it still feels like it moves around occasionally
• Quick and easy access to gear
• Low-profile, understated appearance

Cons:

• Limited protection
• Carrying it on one shoulder for long periods can really wear your shoulder out
• With the F3X size, a 13-inch MacBook Pro won’t fit — though to be fair, if mobility is the priority, who would carry a laptop anyway?
• No rain cover
• Simple interior layout, lacking dedicated compartments for small accessories
• The metal hook closure is very hard to use — difficult to fasten or release smoothly
• Poor anti-theft features

Cheney自己買了一個快扣來改造一下掛勾扣的問題...這是在youtube 上參考一個日本人的影片後DIY的

Domke F3X 可以簡單這樣說

• 可以放1～2台相機 加上3~4顆鏡頭.....放這麼多...Cheney 大概背不動吧
• 內部有九個收納空間
• 底部有緩衝泡棉
• 背帶是防滑橡膠背帶

不過據說如果Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 這樣的鏡頭放進去會比較擠.....Cheney 沒有這顆...所以沒辦法試, 另外如果是放Nikon Z9 這種機身...好像也會很擠的樣子..... 

Cheney actually bought a quick-release buckle to modify the original hook closure. This was a DIY tweak inspired by a Japanese YouTube video.

You can roughly describe the Domke F3X like this:

• It can hold 1–2 camera bodies plus 3–4 lenses… though with that much gear, Cheney probably wouldn’t be able to carry it for long
• The interior has nine storage compartments
• There is padded foam at the bottom
• The shoulder strap uses non-slip rubber

That said, if you try to fit a lens like the Nikon 70–200mm f/2.8, it can get pretty tight. Cheney doesn’t own that lens, so there’s no way to test it personally. Also, if you’re using a body like the Nikon Z9, it seems like space would be quite limited as well.

Made entirely in the USA… something that’s quite rare these days.

因為他沒有什麼小物的收納空間....所以Cheney把一針入魂的Porter小包包作為內袋用...可以放一些錢包證件等等」...也有拉鏈可以防盜

Because it doesn’t have much space for organizing small items, Cheney uses a Porter pouch (the “one-stitch signature” style) as an inner bag. It’s handy for storing things like a wallet and ID, and it also has a zipper for added security against theft.

結論：這是一款很老派的包包...也因為設計不是給一般人用...再加上是舊設計...或許不適合現在的這個環境...所以如果你要買的話....要考慮清楚啊！！
