Cheney 最近買的NAS......
這個牌子還算不錯用, 拜科技進步的結果, NAS不會再像以前那麼貴了
一般的家庭也可以使用NAS的伺服器功能了
家裡的每一部電腦都可以設定一個 account 並設定網路磁碟機,也就是說可以把檔案都存在這台NAS上....Cheney先買了1TB的硬碟....未來還可以買一顆來做raid 0 or raid 1 確保儲存資料的安全

Synology DS211 is a good choice for the people who want to build up his own NAS in his flat, from Cheney's view, it can be seen as an entry level's product. The OS is based on Linux system, which has lower opportunities to face hacker's attack.
Basically, you could assign a net hard drive to the desktop in your flat and also can assign the volume of each account. It also supports raid 0 and raid 1...not bad, right ?
Cheney must say the setting is quite easy, however, Cheney still made a mistake during the setting....
這次買的是2 bay的 DS211......以下是正面圖
the front view of DS211 which can install two 3.5" hard drives and support up to 4TB
這是背面圖....有一個風扇可以做硬碟的散熱
溫度大約介於36-41度(攝氏)
this the rear view of DS211 and with a fan (70mm x70mm) to cool the heat resulted from hard drive
The temperature of hard drive is between 36 to 41 degree centigrade
軟體的設定算是簡單的....不過在安裝的過程中,Cheney還是發生了小插曲......
可以從外部網路連結....不過要先設定動態DNS........
With the DDNS setting, you can access DS211 outside from your flat
裡面有軟體可以監控機器的狀況
平台是linux系統.....寫的算是friendly的了.........
